An animated retelling of Charles Dickens' classic novel about a Victorian–era miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, who begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt. He is taken on a journey of self–redemption, courtesy of several mysterious, Christmas ghosts.
This adaptation of uses the motion–capture technology seen previously in the filmmaker's Beowulf and Polar Express. (PN)
