This highly-praised adaptation of Tennessee William's play stars Vivien Leigh as the neurotic Blanche Dubois (who won an Oscar as did Hunter, and Malden). Powerhouse performances especially Brando's famous portrayal as the animalistic Stanley Kowalski and Kim Hunter as Stella, his winsome wife.
