Errol Flynn's greatest role ensured a successful career as a swashbuckling hero. He wins the heart of the beautiful Maid Marion (de Havilland) and overcomes the nasty prince (Rains) and evil Basil Rathbone. This is a recently-restored Technicolor print. Erich Korngold's memorable score won an Oscar, as did editing and art direction. A wonderfully fulfilling and exciting escapism. (GF)
