Legendary comic creator Will Eisner's classic series from the 1940s comes to life in the hands of graphic novel author turned director Frank Miller (300, Sin City, The Dark Knight Returns).
Drawing on a similar visual style to the extreme film–noir of Sin City, The Spirit is all shadows, smoke, sultry dames, rooftop chases, mean streets and sinister villains (like The Octopus who, in his own words, has eight of everything). Gorgeous visuals and quirky humour (it's not as dark as you think if expecting a Sin City 2) round out this suitable tribute to Will Eisner — one of the comic medium's greatest talents and originators.
