Saving the Moon Bears

MOON BEAR logo - select for AnimalsAsia Foundation web-site

The AnimalsAsia Foundation has been working for 12 years to help bring an end to the horrific cruelty suffered by Chinese "Moon Bears" which are "milked" for their bile.

AAF founder and CEO, Jill Robinson, MBE, has dedicated her life to rescuing Moon Bears from the horrendous conditions she found in Chinese "bile farms" (and now in Vietnam as well).

She wants to save at least 500 bears, bring an end to dog and cat eating, and restore respect for animals in Asia.

The AAF is based in Hong-Kong and has set up a sanctuary for rescued bears at Chengdu in China's Sichuan Province.
