As a subscriber to the news e-mail list you would be sent all items that appear as news on this site - and that includes any late changes to the calendar, extra matinees, special events, special promotions and so on.
The full calendar listing (in a form suitable for printing or loading into a PDA) would be sent every four months as soon as it became available. It would not, however, be sent automatically upon initial subscription. This is a low-volume list and we never send attachments so your in-box will not be swamped.

Please note that subscribers using "hotmail" or AOL addresses may not receive all of the news items because those two services often treat messages to multiple recipients from a single address as "spam" and block them.
Meanwhile, you need have no concerns about your privacy - your e-mail address will not be revealed to any third party and the mailing-list command for listing subscribers has been disabled.
